Obituary
Mrs. Alice Glasgow, age 72 of Vernon, passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at Generations of Vernon.
Mrs. Glasgow was born July 18, 1939, in Lamar Co., AL to the late Clady and Ivie Foster. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her sister, Adell Barnes.
Funeral services will be Tuesday evening at 6:30 in the funeral home chapel with Jerry Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be 4:30-6:30 prior to the service.
She is survived by her husband, Bert Glasgow of Sulligent, AL; two sons, Ricky (Lisa) Glasgow of Sulligent, AL and Phillip (Marquetta) Glasgow of Vernon, AL; two daughers, Kathy Jo (Jim)Hammett of Vernon, AL and Phyllis (JD) Boman of Vernon, AL; two sisters, Icie Reeves of Vernon, AL and Mary Nell Horton of Birmingham, AL; brother, Jerry Foster of Birmingham, AL; six grandchildren, Scotty Glasgow, Brad May, Jade Bostick, Kisha Cantrell, Kandice Dill, and Holly Kilby; and 14 great-grandchildren.
