Mrs. Jenny Aline Jordan, age 85, of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Jordan was born November 1, 1940, in Fayette, AL, to the late Ed and Neomia Holmes.  She was a cook at Generations of Vernon, and was married to the late Bud Jordan.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Jordan, and two brothers, J.W. Holmes and Eugene Holmes.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 16, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, Bro. John Johnson and Bro. Gary Seay officiating.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Jordan, Brent Hartley, Tony Carr, Greg "Porky" Russell, Tommy Orr, Robert Fox, Richard Fox, and Mike Holmes.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Jordan, of Vernon, AL; her daughter, Michelle Jordan, of Vernon, AL; one grandson, Brandon (Morgan) Jordan, of Vernon, AL; three great-grandchildren, Hadleigh, Walker, and Rowdy Jordan; five sisters, Barbara Fox, Edria Faye Lucas, Shirley (Jackie) Merchant, Shelia (Dennis) Lollar, and Penny Stephens; one brother, Jerry (Mary) Holmes; and a host of nieces and nephews.
