Obituary

Allison Leigh Ochoa, just 21 years old, departed this life too soon on Wednesday, November 17, 2024.  Born in Austin, TX, on June 29, 2003, Allison's journey began in the growing community of Manor, where she grew up and attended school.  Later, she embraced new beginnings in Alabama, graduating with the proud Class of 2021 from Lamar County High School.

Allison was also a devoted mother whose greatest joy was her beloved daughter, Isabella "Bella" Iveliz Valentin.  Their precious moments together filled with laughter--whether at the park, enjoying beloved shows like Bluey or Nightmare before Christmas, or indulging in her favorite slushies from Sonic--defined the warmth of their relationship.  She had an unmistakable spark that drew others to her; her love for scary horror movies and playing video games like Animal Crossing, Sims, and Roblox showcased her playful spirit.

Allison's personality was nothing short of radiant, with a spunky charm that shone through her humor.  Her wit and sarcasm had an incredible ability to light up any room, leaving everyone around her smiling and laughing.

She is preceded in death by her loving aunt, Clarissa Phillips, and her grandfathers, William David Page and Jesus Ochoa, as well as her dear friend's mother, Bridget Cortez, whose memory she cherished deeply.

There will be a memorial service, Saturday, January 18, from 2:00-4:00 PM, at the Vernon Church of Christ.

Allison leaves behind a legacy of love and connection.  She will be profoundly missed by her daughter, Isabella; her caring parents, Tracy Lynn Windle and Jesus J. Ochoa; her stepdad, John Windle; two adoring sisters, Dana and her husband Erick Martinez, and Elizabeth Ochoa; and her grandparents, Susan Page, Maria Elena Morales, and Hugh and Lana Windle.  She also leaves a joyful imprint on the hearts of her nieces and nephews, Eden, Elena, Elias Alexander, and Juliette Nicole Martinez; her aunts and uncles, Robert Robb, JC and Stephanie Smith, Stacy and William Disoso, William and Wendy Page, Matthew Page, Lee and Stephanie Page, Larry and Mallory Page, and Tracy M. Windle; and treasured friends Lily and Maria, as well as countless extended family members.
