Mrs. Almarene Hasselton Waldon, age 94 of Millport, AL, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Waldon was born September 30, 1922, in Lowndes Co., MS, to the late Raymond Chesley and Alice Gallop. She was a seamstress and owned a tailor shop. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Waldon was preceded in death by her husband, Audron Deloyn Waldon, Sr., and her daughter, Sherrie Marie Sellers.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Jammie Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 prior to the service.

Survivors include one son, Audron Waldon, Jr. of Millport, AL; one daughter, Linda Kaye (Larry) Colson of Millport, AL; three grandsons, Casey (Kelly) Colson, Eric (Jennifer) Colson, and Tyler James Sellers; and three great-grandsons, Molly Lee Colson, Lincoln Olen Colson, and Liam Ray Colson.
