Mrs. Amy Leigh Woods Lacy, age 51, of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Mrs. Lacy was born June 7, 1971, in Amory, MS.  She was a 1989 graduate of Lamar County High School, and was a registered nurse at Generations of Vernon.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eldon and Evelyn Oakes and Clifton and Evelyn Woods.

A memorial service will be Friday, October 14, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. Jammie Turner and Bro. Terry McAdams officiating.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband, David Lacy, of Vernon, AL; her parents, Paul and Dianne Woods, of Vernon, AL; two sisters, Emily (Ben) Burleson of Guin, AL and Michele (Shawn) Woods of Gilbert, AZ; three nieces, Ashley Dianne (Seth) Seaborn, Alisyn Jane (Cole) Jackson, and Shelby Burleson (Drake) Hollis; two nephews, Ryan Thomas Woods and Brogan Paul Woods; her great-nieces and nephew, Benjamin Ross and Ryleigh Dianne Seaborn, and Isabelle Kate and Dallie Hope Hollis; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
