Obituary
Mrs. Mary Anglyn Butler, age 71 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at her residence.
Mrs. Butler was born January 3, 1942, in Vernon, AL, to the late Bruce and Ila Rogers. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Banks Butler and her sister, Elwanda Glasgow.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Doug Bridges officiating. Graveside services will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening 6-9.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Ben) Huguley of Lowndesboro, AL; two grandchildren, Dewayne Cole of Tupelo, MS and LaDawn Webb of Winfield, AL; two great-grandchildren, Abigail Webb and Samuel Webb; step-son, Danny Butler; three step-daughters, Carol Redus, Annette Butler, and Vallery Kelley; eight step-grandchildren, Kyle Redus, Melanie Wise, Shawn Butler, Marsha Smith, Jamie Butler,Amanda Thomas, Seth Scott, and Jason Kelley; two sisters, Virginia Logan and Marion Corr; four brothers, Bobby Rogers, David Rogers, Jerry Rogers, and Jimmy Rogers; and her best friend and fiance, Billy Jenkins of Columbus, MS.
