Mrs. Marie Anne Hankins, age 80 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at her residence.

Mrs. Hankins was born October 10, 1938, in Winfield, AL, to the late Raymond and Lucille Bostick.  She owned and operated Bostick's Furniture in Vernon for a number of years.  She was also a member of the Vernon Church of Christ where she enjoyed teaching the teenage girls Bible class.

Funeral services will be Saturday, at 2:00 PM, at the Vernon Church of Christ, with Eddie Finch officiating.  Burial will follow at Vernon City Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, at the church, 1:00-2:00, prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Hankins, of Vernon, AL; one son, Jeff (Pam) Hankins, of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Jenni Hankins of Vernon, AL; one grandson, Keith Hankins, of Ocean Springs, MS; one sister, Judy Bostick of Peach Tree City, GA; and a host of other family and friends.
