Obituary
Annie Lora Sloat, age 75 of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, Aug. 27, 2010 at West Alabama Medical Center in Winfield.
Mrs. Sloat was born May 8, 1935 in Marion Co., AL to the late Beldon and Lyda Price. She worked in the garment plant.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Godsey officiating. Burial will be at Lamar Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday 6-8.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Sloat of Vernon; son and daughter-in-law, Gene & Artie Sloat of Vernon; brother, Eugene Price of Chester, IL; three grandchildren, Brandy Wilson, Kayla Rogers, and Jennifer White; and seven great-grandchildren, Olivia Wilson, Mason Wilson, Hudson Wilson, Gabby Studdard, Colton Studdard, Selena Johnston, and Isabella White.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
