Ashley Welch

Miss Ashley Taylor Welch, age 26, of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026.

Ashley was born December 24, 1999, in Amory, MS, to Scott Welch and Brenda Tribble David.  She was a 2018 graduate of Winfield High School, and worked as a dental assistant at Sulligent Dental Clinic and was a mental health tech.  Ashley was a loving mother to her two children, and a loving daughter and sister.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Betty Tribble, and Pete Welch, and her great-grandmother, Billie Jean Wilson.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 12, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. Grant Webb and Misty Oakes officiating.  Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery in Detroit.  Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Ashley is survived by her children, Bailey and Blakely Woods; her parents, Scott (Dena) Welch and Brenda David; three brothers, John Tribble, Abel Tribble, and Morgan David; one sister, Lexi Welch; and her grandmother, Pat Welch.
