Obituary
Mrs. Audie Lou Richards, age 88 of Sulligent, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Generations of Vernon.
Mrs. Richards was born Dec. 29, 1922, in Lamar Co. to the late Gardner and Wilma Lampkins. She was a seamstress with McCoy Manufacturing.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 at the Nebo United Methodist Church with Terry McAdams officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening 6-8 at the funeral home.
Survivors are three sons, Lynn (Nancy) Richards of Fayette, Glenn (Linda) Richards of Millport, and Rayford (Martha) Richards of Sulligent; daughter, Olivia (Arnold) Schrock of Aberdeen, MS; sister, Sue Miller of Sulligent; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Richards; her parents; grandson, Scotty Richards; great-grandson, Jeb Davis Richards; two sisters, Earthie Porter and Gertrude Lampkins; and brother, Winston Lampkins.
