Obituary
Mrs. Augie Bea Bishop, age 90 of Vernon, passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at her residence.
Mrs. Bishop was born Jan. 27, 1921 in Lamar Co. to the late George Calvin and Mary Frances Lawrence and worked as a book keeper.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Mike Nabors officiating. Graveside service will follow at Liberty Freewill Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday one hour prior to the service.
Survivors are three sisters, Versa Griffin of Vernon, Margie Stidham of Mobile, and Ora Seay Burnett of Sulligent.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Butler and Warren Bishop.
