Mrs. Barbara Ann Corkren, age 70, of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at Generations of Vernon.

Mrs. Corkren was born August 1, 1951, to the late Emmett and Mary Alice Brewer. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Mrs. Corkren was married to the late Timothy Corkren.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Sullivan.

There will be a memorial service Sunday, at 2:30 PM, at Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church, with George Shaw officiating.

Survivors include two daughters, Nicky (Andre) Denman and Allison Corkren, both of Vernon, AL; two sons, Al (Nichole) Lewis and Paul Corkren, both of Vernon, AL; four grandchildren, Timmy Lewis, Cadence Denman, Rhys Denman, and Cullen Denman; one sister, Kay (George) Shaw, of Reform, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
