Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Stanford, age 70 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. Stanford was born February 29, 1944, in the Crossville Community, to the late Oder and Hazel Christian. She was a maintenance worker at Wal-Mart in Amory and was married to the late James Stanford.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Blaylock Cemetery in Sulligent. Visitation will be Monday evening 6-9.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Wilson of Sulligent, AL; her two grandchildren, Ethan Stanford and Jessie Wilson, both of Sulligent, AL; her great-grandson, Rayburn James Cunningham of Sulligent, AL; and her brother, Wendel Christian of Winfield, AL.
