Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jane Burchett, age 77 of Tuscaloosa, AL and formerly of Vernon, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Heritage Health Care & Rehab in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. Burchett was born June 5, 1935, in Lamar Co., AL to the late Gilbert and Dorothy Pennington. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Burchett; infant daughter, Debra Burchett; and one brother.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Ben Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion cemetery in Millport. Visitation will be Tuesday 12-2 prior to the service.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Larry) Wood of New Hope, MS and Donna (Joe) Wincek of Northport, AL; three sons, Danny (Sherry) Burchett of Vernon, AL, Tommy (Danna) Burchett of Eutaw, AL, and Marty (Pam) Burchett of Blythe, CA; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
