Obituary
Betty Jane Havard McElrath, age 63 of Vernon, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at Generations of Vernon.
Mrs. McElrath was born July 9, 1947 to the late John Lloyd and Annie Irene Fowler and was a house wife.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 at the Full Gospel Worship Center with James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at the church 1-2 prior to the service.
She is survived by her son, William Tate Havard of Vernon; four daughters, Connie Rene Smaley of Columbus, Jo Ann Berry of Columbus, Julie Wilson of Fayette, and Bobbie Havard of Fayette; two sisters, Maxine Owens of Vernon and Annie Sue Williford of Vernon; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
