Mrs. Betty Mae "Mickie" Stanley-Taylor, age 84 of Cullman, AL and formerly of Lamar Co., passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL.

Mrs. Stanley-Taylor was born Oct. 3, 1927, in Cullman Co., AL to the late Henry and Rosamae Grund. She was a member of Brickyard Baptist Church and Star Community Club and enjoyed crocheting, her grandchildren, reading the Bible, and story hour at Woodland Village.

Mrs. Stanley-Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Stanley; daughter, Debran Ann Stanley; her parents; brother, John Rudolph Grund; and sister, Margaret Ann Jenkins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 24, at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Jerry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening 6-8.

Survivors are her son, Fred (Alice) Fulton of Blooming Grove, AL; three daughters, Susan (Thomas) Welch of Cullman, AL, Rita (Mike) Gideon of Vernon, AL, and Marilyn Fousek of Fayette, AL; brother, John Robert (Faye) Grund of Lake City, FL; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
