Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jean Reynolds Perkins, age 81 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Mrs. Perkins was born September 28, 1931, in Pickens Co., AL to the late William and Effie Reynolds. She was married to the late Garland Perkins and was a seamstress.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with Chris McCool officiating. Burial will follow at Libert Freewill Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 1-3 prior to the service.
Survivors include her nephew, Lynn Perkins of Asheville, NC, and three nieces, Lorene Dyer of Columbus, MS, Cathy Jenkins of Kennedy, AL, and Carol Locke of Kennedy, AL.
