Mr. Bobby Gene Crawford, age 87 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.

Mr. Crawford was born March 15, 1933, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Dan and Rama Crawford.  He served in the U.S. Army, and was a retired machine operator at Arvins.  Mr. Crawford was a faithful member of Oakes Chapel Baptist Church.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Smith Crawford; his daughter, Sheila Ann; one brother, Billy Joe Crawford; and three sisters, Erma Neil Perkins, Nema Gail Oaks, and Barbara Ann Otts.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with James Godsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday morning, 10:00-11:00 AM, prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be David DuBose, Jake DuBose, Terry DuBose, Jason Perkins, Kendall Price, and Jeff Babb.

Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews, and his kind care givers.
