Mr. Bobby Lewie Crossley, age 79 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Crossley was born March 14, 1938, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late John and Naomi Crossley.  He served in the U.S. Navy and was a farmer and truck driver.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Dickie Dees officiating.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be Sunday 1:00-3:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include one son, Phillip  Crossley (Christi) of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Angie Cranford (Phillip) of Vernon, AL; five grandchildren, Myra (John David) Slayton, Beth (Jarrett) Pope, Ryan Cranford (Sydney), Austin Hollis, and Bailey Hollis; one step-son, Lynn Reeves; one step-daughter, Becky (Oscar) Barnes; three step-grandchildren, Kevin Barnes, Mitchell Reeves, and Meredith Ashby; 12 great-grandchildren; and his friend Abby.
