Mr. Bobby Joe Honeycutt, age 62, of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Mr. Honeycutt was born August 14, 1958, in Columbus, MS, to the late Mack John and Ruby Lillian Honeycutt.  He was a welder at Marathon, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Wilson.

Funeral services will be Friday, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Randy Pennington and Charles Wharton officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery in the New Hope Community in Columbus.  Visitation will be Friday, 12:00-1:00 PM, prior to the service.

Survivors include his sister, Mildred Cole of Double Springs, AL; two brothers, Billy Honeycutt of Vernon, AL and Paul Honeycutt of Tuscumbia, AL; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Wilson; and a host of other family and friends.
