Mr. Bobby Joe Suggs, age 81, of Millport, AL, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Hospice of West Alabama, in Tuscaloosa.

Mr. Suggs was born May 13, 1941, in Caledonia, MS, to the late William G. and Inor Suggs.  He served in the US Air Force, and was a contractor.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Janice Bonita Suggs; two great-grandchildren, Janice Rose Suggs and Jacob Suggs; his brother, Jimmy Suggs; and his sister, Bess Stineman.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 6, at 12:00 PM, at the Fountain of Life Church, with Bro. Paul Barham officiating.  Burial will follow later at the Dallas National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.  Visitation will be at the church 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Suggs, of Millport, AL; his children, Tracey (Doug) Hairgrove of Grand Prairie, TX, Dwayne Suggs of Santo, TX, Charlotte (Jim) Richardson of Celina, TX, and Charlene (Bill) Gates of Harrisburg, SD; his grandchildren, David Warren, Jr., Ryan Warren, Preston Suggs, Grant Suggs, Kyle Suggs, Lauren Gates, Garrett Albaugh, Delanie Albaugh, Shannon Leggett, Emma Raye Rose Suggs, and Wesley Suggs; and his great-grandchildren, Eden Albaugh, Camden Wetta, Greyson Wetta, Keagan Suggs, Maddox Suggs, Aly Suggs, Colby Suggs, Carlson Suggs, Eli Suggs, Addison Suggs, Briana Leggett, Dashaun Leggett, and Kayden Leggett.
