Mr. Brandon Ray Adams, age 40 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017, at his residence.

Mr. Adams was born August 5, 1977, in Amory, MS, to Bishop Billy Ray and Glenda Adams of Sulligent, AL. He attended college at Mississippi State University and was a member of the Famous Maroon Band. He was a band director for 17 years, and he desired to share his love of music with all of his students. He was a devoted husband and wonderful father to his two girls.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Don Myers and Gary Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia. Visitation will be Sunday evening 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Heath McCurdy, Ryan Adams, Jason Barham, Danny Smith, David Reiland, and Chris Irvin.

Survivors include his wife Janet Adams of Sulligent, AL; two daughters, Madison and Faith Adams, both of Sulligent, AL; his parents, Billy Ray and Glenda Adams of Sulligent, AL; his grandmother, Fannie Cantrell of Fayette, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
