Obituary
Ms. Brenda T. McNees, age 64 of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Ms. McNees was born May 24, 1951, in Amory, MS, to the late Coy and Annie Belle Thornton. She was retired from the Lamar Co. Department of Human Resources and loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday at 4:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Eddie Finch officiating. Burial will follow at Wofford Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 prior to the service.
Survivors include her son, Cody McNees of Vernon, AL; her daughter, Bree (Chris) Barnett of Olive Branch, MS; four grandchildren, Austin and Victoria McNess and Carter and Olivia Barnett; her brother, Carl (Judy) Thornton; her sister, Linda (Dwayne) Oliver; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
