Mr. George Buddy "Bud" Jordan, age 82, of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020, at UMMC in Jackson, MS.

Mr. Jordan was born November 11, 1938, in Vernon, AL, to the late Murray and Maudie Jordan.  He was an equipment operator in the oil fields.  Mr. Jordan was also preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Jordan; his brother, Warren Jordan; and three sisters, Faye Russell, Polly Walters, and Shirley Orr.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Wade Peoples and Jim Wright officiating.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be Monday, 12:00-2:00, prior to the service.  The family has requested that everyone please wear a mask.

Pallbearers will be Craig Lollar, Jeff Jordan, Terry Russell, Greg Russell, Tony Carr, Tommy Orr, Michael Orr, and Glenn Crawford.

Survivors include his wife, Aline Jordan of Vernon, AL; one son, Kenny Jordan of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Michelle Jordan of Vernon, AL; one grandson, Brandon (Morgan) Jordan of Vernon, AL; one sister, Betty Carr of Vernon, AL; one brother, Bill Jordan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
