Obituary
Mr. Calvin Lafayette Curry, age 60 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Curry was born March 16, 1954, in Millport, AL, to the late Jessie and Mary Curry and was a construction worker. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Doris Thomas.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 12-2 prior to the service.
Survivors include his son, Ryan Curry of Tennessee; three brothers, Bobby Curry of Vernon, AL, Steve Curry of Fayette, AL, and Danny Curry of Vernon, AL; one grandson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
