Mrs. Carolyn Jane Wheeler Tingler, age 64 of New Smyna, FL and formerly of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Advent Health Memorial Hospital in Orange City, FL.

Mrs. Tingler was born May 19, 1957, in Sulligent, AL, to the late William Chester Wheeler and Charlene Graham Wheeler.  She worked in management at Suntrust Bank, and in accounting with Paradise Cove Construction Company.  Mrs. Tingler was also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Shackelford, and two brothers, Don Wheeler and Holley Wheeler.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 7, at 4:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Eddie Finch officiating.  Burial will follow at Shiloh Methodist Cemetery in the Hightogy Community.  Visitation will be Saturday, 3:00-4:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband, Robert "Rob" Tingler; one son, Shawn (Susie) Shackelford, of Niceville, FL; one daughter, Seaba Sharp; two step-daughters, Amber (Stephan) Tremblay and Heather Tingler; one step-son, Joshua Tingler; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Don Rushing, Roger Dale Wheeler, and David (Beverly) Wheeler; and a host of nieces and nephews.</p >
