Obituary
Mrs. Chapple Nona Crawford Barnes, age 89 of Birmingham, AL and formerly of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
Mrs. Barnes was born March 3, 1926, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late James F. and Aldie Crawford. She was a homemaker and was married to the late Titus Barnes. Mrs. Barnes was also preceded in death by three brothers, Troy Crawford, Hunter Crawford, and Richard Crawford; and four sisters, Elise Sweat, Maureen Turner, Raye Kitchens, and Edna Earl Lawrence.
Graveside services will be Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at the Shiloh Cemetery in the Hightogy Community with Tim Baumgarten officiating.
Survivors include three daughters, Kay (Bob) Wilson of Northport, AL, Joanie (Tom) Aderholt of Birmingham, AL, and Janie (Ron) Kakas of Northport, AL; five grandchildren, Angel (James) Baker, Marty (Staci) Wilson, Adam Aderholt, Mia Haught, and Anna Kay Aderholt; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Bilbo (Helen) Crawford of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Helen Robertson of Vernon, AL; and a number of nieces and nephews.
