Mr. Charles Dwight Owens, age 35, of Northport, AL, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in Wilcox County, AL.

Charles was born March 3, 1986, in Tuscaloosa, AL, and he was a truck driver.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Carson and Braydon Owens; his grandparents, Ernest and Maxine Owens; his aunt and uncle, Kathy and Thomas Taylor; and his cousin, Elizabeth Watkins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 8, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with James Godsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove.  Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, George Owens and Pamela Smith; his mother, Sharon Hodges; his wife, Claire Owens; his children, Faith and Liam Owens; his special friend, Kaleigh Tucker; two sisters, Carol Dennis and Gabrielle Hodges; his aunts and uncles, Lois and Larry Eiynck, Glenda and David Watkins, and Marie and Mark Anderson; and numerous cousins.
