Obituary
Mr. Charles Raymond (Sonny) Collier, age 80 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Collier was born July 26, 1931 in Lamar Co., AL to the late Charles Raymond Collier, Sr. and Minnie Collier. He was a sheet metal contractor.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with Randy Holmes and Eddie Finch officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be Friday 2-3 prior to the service.
Survivors are his son, Tommy Collier of Vernon; two daughters, Faye Hollis of Vernon and Martha Sue Orso of Mobile; three grandsons, Trace Collier, Kenneth Hollis, and Jonathan Orso; four great-grandchildren; and special friend, Elwood Reim of Washington.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Collier; parents; two grandsons, Chris Hollis and Jamie Orso; and sister, Louise May.
