Obituary
Mrs. Christine Harris Galloway, age 64 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018, at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. Galloway was born November 27, 1953, in Lee County, MS, to the late Hermit and Lilly Hill. She was a beautician. Mrs. Galloway was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Harris, her sisters, and one brother.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Lynn Galloway officiating. Burial will follow at Sulligent City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 11:30-1:00 prior to the service.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Galloway of Vernon, AL; two daughters, Cynthia (John) Boswell of Caledonia, MS and Diane (Bryan) Thompson of Jackson, TN; six grandchildren, Logan Dove, Aydin Weeks, Adelaide Thompson, Gabby Thompson, Liam Thompson, and Wyatt Thompson; two brothers, Russell (Patsy) Hill and Pete Hill.
