Mr. Claborn Hasell "C.H." Cantrell, age 84 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Thursday, Augutst 4, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. Cantrell was born August 18, 1931, in Truman, AR, to the late Marvin J. and Vera Bell Cantrell. He served in the U.S. Army as a T/Sgt. during the Korean Conflict and was a supervisor at United Technologies until his retirement. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cantrell was also preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Shelby Holley Cantrell; his wife of 10 months, Ruth Roberts Cantrell; and two brothers, Kenneth Cantrell and Bobby Cantrell.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Bro. Carlos Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be Sunday 12:30-2:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include his daughter, Lynne (Danny) Webster of Vernon, AL; his son, Keith (Sandi) Cantrell of Madison, AL; five grandchildren, Danny (Elizabeth) Webster, Jr., Chris (Candi) Webster, Colin Cantrell, Carmen Cantrell, and Connor Cantrell; four great-grandchildren, Katie Webster, Kaleb Webster, Kyleigh Webster, and Cain Webster; two brothers, Youell Cantrell and Harold Cantrell, both of Vernon, AL; his special friend, Mary Cantrell; and a host of other family and friends.
