Mr. William Clyde Glasgow, age 69 of Caledonia, MS, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017, at UAB Highlands Hospital in Birmingham.
Mr. Glasgow was born September 5, 1947, in Columbus, MS, to the late William Platt and Mildred Gallop Glasgow. He was an electrician and cattle farmer, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Kimbrell.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Jason Arends, Randy Hays, Terry Breland, and Kenny Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the Asbury cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 12:30-2:30 prior to the service.
Active pallbearers will be Dan Weathers, Mike Pennington, Scott Franks, Tracy Humbers, Ronnie Owings, Chad Franks, Preston Corbett, and Jeff Grubbs.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Davis, Tommy Eskridge, Zadus Turner, James Cole, James Hays, and Ken Franks.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Glasgow of Caledonia, MS; three sons, Sean C. (Donna) Glasgow of Caledonia, MS, Michael Shane (Stacey) Glasgow of Vernon, AL, and Brandon Shae (Misty) Glasgow of Caledonia, MS; seven grandchildren, William Jantsen Glasgow, Jada Kay Glasgow, Jaden Sean Glasgow, Brodie Shane Glasgow, Bradie Wayne Glasgow, Gabrielle Nicole Glasgow, and Isabella Shae Glasgow; one brother, James David (Sandra) Glasgow of Northport, AL; two nieces, Tabitha Weddington and Jessica DeVries; and a host of other family and friends.
