Obituary
Mr. Dallas Franklin Cooper, age 74 of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Cooper was born September 15, 1938, in Lamar Co., AL to the late Delmer and Era Cooper. He was a logger, a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Cooper.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel with Travis Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday evening 6-8.
Survivors include his son, Aaron (Robin) Cooper of Marietta, GA; two daughters, Laura (Jeff) Harvill and Amy (Gavin) Hutchins of Northport, AL; one brother, Palmer Cooper of Beaverton, AL; two sisters, Annie Paige Hulsey of Hamilton, AL and Vernell Roberton of Sulligent, AL; five grandchildren, Rachel Cooper, Jared Harvill, Seth Harvill, Carla Hutchins, and Lily Hutchins; his special friend, Ann Reed of Vernon, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
