Mr. Danny Curry, age 60, of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at his residence.

Danny was born in June 23, 1961, in Millport, AL, to the Jessie and Mary Lawrence Curry.  Danny loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest.  He lived for fishing and for his family.  Danny was a very hard worker from a young age, and he was everybody's go to when they needed something fixed.  You could usually find him either working or at the Lamar County Lake.  Danny was well known and loved throughout Lamar County.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister Doris Thomas, and his brother Calvin Curry.

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 30, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Brother Jammie Turner officiating.  Burial will follow at Christian Chapel.  Visitation will be Sunday, 12:30-2:00, prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Hank Curry, Greg Williams, Anthony Turner, Eric Stockman, Cade Simon, and Andy Scrivner.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Curry, Jr., and Dale Curry.

Danny is survived by his brothers, Bobby Curry and Steve (Janet) Curry; two step-daughters, Jennifer (Allen) Hudson and Crystal (Josh) Hall; a number of nieces and nephews; his dearest friend, Earlene Pennington; and his girlfriend Misty King.
