Danny Joe Moore

Mr. Danny Joe Moore, age 63, of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Moore was born September 14, 1963, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Pervy Lee and Roseeta (Edgewater) Moore.  He was a cutter in a sawmill, and was married to the late Shirley Moore.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Wayne Moore and Junior Moore; and his sisters, Rosy Lee Edgeworth, Wyneil Moore, Linda Gail Moore, Linda Gilmore, and Shirley Channell.

Survivors include his two brothers, Larry Moore and Bobby Wayne Moore; two sisters, Joyce Sorrells and Barbara Sue Wyres; and his caretaker, Peggy Murdock.
