Mr. Walter David Watkins, Jr., age 52, of Bankston, AL, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in Haleyville, AL.

Mr. Watkins was born October 22, 1971, in Tuscaloosa, AL, to the late Bobby Joe and Rosie Mae Stimac.  He was a truck driver, and was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elizabeth Watkins.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 17, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. Jason Ives officiating.  A graveside service will follow at Walnut Grove.  Visitation will 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Watkins, of Bankston, AL; three sons, Zack (Zandra) Watkins, Adam (Samantha) Bass, and Wyatt Johnson; one daughter, Lillian Johnson; five grandchildren, Jaxon Watkins, Rosie Watkins, Bowen Watkins, Hunter Bass, and Jacob Bass; one brother, Jason Watson; three sisters, Ashley Estes, Stacey Walls, and Kim Price; and a host of other family and friends.
