Obituary
Dessie Ophelia Perkins, age 86 of Vernon, passed away Monday, Sep. 20, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Winfield, AL.
Mrs. Perkins was born Jan. 23, 1924 in Fayette Co., AL to the late Harvey and Trudy Perkins. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be Wed. at 1:00 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. M.H. Hollis officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Crossville.
Survivors are two sons, Danny Perkins of Vernon and David Perkins of Vernon; and five sisters, Denna Stewart of Birmingham, Dorothy Lawrence of Vernon, Della Perkins of Vernon, Helen Gartman of Fayette, and Vera Gilpin of Winfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
