Mrs. Dola Mae Edwards, age 54 of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, in Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Edwards was born January 15, 1967, in Hamilton, MS, to the late E.D. and Liddie Guin Garrett.  She was a CNA Nurses Assistant, and was married to the late Johnny Edwards.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Christy Hughes, and her brother, Eddie Garrett.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 4, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with James Godsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Celebration Worship Center Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Earl Humbers, Thomas Stallworth, Coty Lewis, Jarred Reese, Tony Rinaldi, and Tyler Edwards.

Survivors include two daughters, Angela Edwards and Melissa Edwards, both of Vernon, AL; five grandchildren, Harley Edwards of Caledonia, MS, Paisley Lewis of Vernon, AL, Teagan Spruill of Vernon, AL, Miracle Edwards of Birmingham, AL, and Hunter Lee of Booneville, MS; one sister, Joyce Harcrow of Reform, AL; and her best friend, Donna Adams.
