Mr. Donald Ray Teel, age 56, of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Teel was born February 11, 1965, in Langdale, AL, to the late Ray and Dora Laynette Atkins Teel.  He worked as a cab controller at Ox Bodies.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, August 28, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Brandon Phillips officiating.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Teel of Vernon, AL; one step-son, Glen (Hali) Minor, of Vernon, AL; one step-daughter, Melissa (Jeremy) Therrien, of Italy; two step-grandchildren, Lucas Minor and Kara Therrien; one sister, Rose Aldridge, of Berry, AL; and one nephew, Rick Aldridge.
