Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Mae McReynolds, age 86 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. McReynolds was born May 26, 1926, in Lamar Co., AL to the late W.D. and Dessie Reeves. She was a medical secretary/medical clerk for a medical office in Vernon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leon McReynolds and four brothers, Charles Reeves, Billy Reeves, Edwin Reeves, and Sidney Reeves.
Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00 in the funeral home chapel with Tom Harris and Dickie Dees officiating. Burial will follow at Lamar Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 10-12 prior to the service.
Survivors include her daughter, Joan (Bill) Jordan of Vernon,AL; her son, Bud (Jackie) McReynolds of Vernon, AL; five grandchildren, Sheilah Walker, Tammy Huff, Christy (Jimmy) Godfrey, Jeff McReynolds, and Jamie McReynolds; four great-grandchildren, Adam (Claire) McDaniel, Jake (Amber) Huff, Bethany Huff, and Caleigh Walker; and two great-great-grandchildren, Sara Beth Huff and Grant Huff.
