Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Ann Vice, age 67 of Vernon, passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Marion Regional Medical Center in Hamilton, AL.
Mrs. Vice was born March 1, 1944 in Fayette Co. to the late Earnest Julia Ann Watkins. She was a house wife and enjoyed camping, cooking, and watching the leaves change in the fall.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel with Doug Wharton officiating. Graveside service will follow at Mt. Zion cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6-8.
Mrs. Vice is survived by her husband, Earnest Ray Vice of Vernon; four sons, Jeffery (Carol) Locke of Kennedy, Patrick (Pattie) Locke of Vernon, Stanley (Teresa) Locke of Millport, and Allan Vice of Vernon; daughter, Jennifer Vice (Jimmy Killian) of Ft. Payne, AL; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 11 brothers and sisters; grandson, Patrick Clinton Locke; and her first husband, J.E. Locke.
