Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Mae Webster, age 79 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Mrs. Webster was born July 16, 1933, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Robert Floyd and Arie Ann Jones. She was a homemaker and was married to the late William Carl Webster.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 at the First Baptist Church in Vernon with David Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday at the church 1-3 prior to the service.
Survivors include her husband, Sherman Webster of Vernon, AL; two daughters, Teresa Mae (Verlin) Edwards of Cropwell, AL and Wanda Ann (David) Woods of Vernon, AL; son, Danny (Lynne) Webster of Vernon, AL; six grandchildren, Mitch Lucas, James Woods, Jennifer Looney, Mark Woods, Danny Webster, Jr., and Christopher Webster; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Arnold (Lois) Jones of Guin, AL; and two nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Gideons International, 2900 Lebanon Road, Nashville, TN 37214 or to LeBonheur Children's Hospital, 848 Adams Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103.
