Mr. Earlie Edward Otts, age 85, of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Otts was born January 31, 1939, in Sulligent, AL, to the late Charlie and Lucille Williams Otts.  He worked in the shipping department at Hyster and retired from there after 32 years, and he attended Calvary Baptist Church.  He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Otts, and three sisters, Kathleen Lee, Avie Lou Heard, and Emma Jane Jackson.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 23, at 2:00 PM, at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, with Jerry Ray officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 at the church prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Glennice Otts; two daughters, Dana (Alvin) Bertrand and Nina (Stoney) Robertson; one step-son, Joey Cash; two grandchildren, Tiffany (Camron) Reese and Seth Bertrand; two great-grandchildren, Tatum and Walker Reese; one brother, Jerry Otts; and two sisters, Hilda Nolen and Mildred Lowery.
