Mrs. Edith Inez Wright, age 87 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at her residence.

Mrs. Wright was born January 6, 1932, in Rogersville, AL, to the late Dillard and Gertie King.  She was married to the late Phillip Wright and worked with inventory control at the Lamar County Board of Education.

There will be a private graveside service for the family.

Survivors include her sister, Aletha Sanderson of Hamilton, AL; two sons, Randy (Kathy) Wright of Decatur, AL and Kevin Wright of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Renee Wright of Vernon, AL; three grandchildren, Chad Wright of Pontotoc, MS, Jessica Speck of Guntown, MS, and Kevin Wright of Vernon, AL; six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
