Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Billingsley, age 69 of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, February 20,2016, at her residence.
Mrs. Billingsley was born January 21, 1947, in Fayette, AL, to the late Austin and Grace Rushing. She was a nurse at Lamar Regional Hospital and Care Center of Vernon and a member at Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00 from the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Carol Smith, Danny Thompson, and James Walden officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Eskridge, Tommy Eskridge, Brett Gentle, Greg Bardon, Scott Walker, Jonathan Beasley, Edwin Collins, and Ron Strawbridge.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Billingsley of Vernon, AL; one son, Brad (Brittney) May of Vernon, AL; three grandchildren, Linzley, Tryson, and Brix May; and her good friend, Brenda (Johnny) Finch.
