Mrs. Elizabeth "Bettye" Marie Bradford, age 75, of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

Mrs. Bradford was born December 20, 1945, in Memphis, TN, to the late Joe Lea and the late Betty Lippard.  She was retired, and was married to the late Celvy Owen Bradford, Sr.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dewayne Lippard and John Lea, and her sisters, Cathy Mills and Cherie Yates.

Funeral services will be Thursday, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. James Godsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Oakes Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, 1:00-2:00, prior to the service.

Survivors include three sons, Gary (Debbie) Bradford, Junior (Teresa) Bradford, and Shane (Traci) Hassell, all of Vernon, AL; seven grandchildren, Dusti Bradford, Jessica (Bobby) Chambers, Beth (Jarrett) Pope, Jamie (Luke) Madison, Breanna (Hunter) McGee, and Leia Bradford (Jake DuBose); nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Steve Lea and Earle Lippard; two sisters, Leesa Puffinbarger and Belinda Aldridge; four sisters-in-law, Min Lea, Joyce Markham, Betty Bradford Bennett, and Carol Kraemer; and one brother-in-law, Harvey Bradford.
