Mrs. Elizabeth Glasgow, age 84 of Caledonia, MS, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014, at Windsor Place in Columbus, MS.
Mrs. Glasgow was born March 23, 1930, in Lowndes Co., MS, to the late Audie E. and Nettie Smith. She was an assembly worker with United Technologies and was married to the late James Glasgow. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Glasgow was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Glasgow; her grandson, James T. Benefield; and her brother, Robert, E. Smith.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 in the funeral home chapel with Terry McAdams, Joe Moseley, and Willard Pless officiating. Graveside services will follow at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be Sunday evening 6:30-8:30.
Survivors include her son, Johnny (Dianne) Glasgow of Sulligent, AL; her daughter, Sarah (Doug) Collum of Caledonia, MS; three grandchildren, Beth (Tim) Pless of Caledonia, MS, Nickie (Joe) Moseley of Vernon, AL, and Jeremy (Jennie) Glasgow of Fulton, MS; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Eva (Jimmy) Cooper of Vernon, AL; her brother, Charles (Helen) Smith of Hamilton, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
