Mrs. Emily Faye Shepherd, age 69, of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, January 20, at her residence.

Mrs. Shepherd was born April 18, 1954, to the late James and Ruthie Holliday, and was a hairdresser.

The family will have a private family graveside service at a later date.

Survivors include her husband, Chester Shepherd, of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Tanya Woods, of Vernon, AL; one son, Chad Shepherd, of Vernon, AL; three grandchildren, Haley and Peyton Woods and Jacie Stewart; one great-granddaughter, Gianna Grace Atkins; and one brother, Mack Holliday.
