Obituary
Miss Emily Faye Thomas, age 72 of Fayette, AL, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Miss Thomas was born September 1, 1941, in Lamar Co., AL to the late George and Vaudellar Thomas. She was a waitress and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Miss Thomas was also preceded in death by her grandson, John Thomas; one brother, James Thomas; and her grandmother, Verona Benefield.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Sonny McLellan and Travis Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Miracle of Faith cemetery in Fayette. Visitation will be Wednesday 12-2 prior to the service.
Survivors include her daughter, Vickey Diane Sansing of Fort Walton Beach, FL; a special son, Preston Adams of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Brian Edward Sansing of Reform, AL and Brianna Nicole Sansing of Millport, AL; three brothers, Larry Brooks Thomas of Vernon, AL, Billy Ray Thomas of Vernon, AL, and Roy Thomas of Sulligent, AL; and two sisters, Dorothy Many of Cabot, AR and Kathy Ann Sullivan of Fayette, AL.
