Obituary
Mrs. Emily Leigh Wilson Box, age 43 of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016, at her residence.
Emily was born October 18, 1972, in Vernon, AL, to the late Billy Gene and Joanne Hollis Wilson. She was a dispatcher with the Lamar Co. Sheriff's Department and was also preceded in death by grandparents, Roll and Lena Hollis and Raymond and Willie Wilson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Danny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Wofford Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 1-3 prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Justin Cunningham, Cecil Chaffin, Ahmad Walker, Jason Perkins, Kevin Ives, Marty Gottwalk, Terry Perkins, and Charles White.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Box of Vernon, AL; her daughter, Brittney Box of Vernon, AL; her son, Dewayne (Brandy) Box of Bloomsville, MO; two grandchildren, Jody and Henry Box; two cousins, Patsy Rogers of Vernon, AL and Russell (Donna) Hollis of Tupelo, MS; her father-in-law, Phillip Box; her sister-in-law, Meredith Cloudus; and a host of friends.
